OK cool. I think I might be developing an issue with my rack as well. I noticed a grease leak, look at the left side of the rack in the picture just to the right of the tie rod, you'll see the leak around the bolt. Stopped by our local dealer today to see if maybe a gasket or washer might have worn out I could replace and they don't sell the rack parts separately, just the whole assembly.

The inner tie rod has a socket (behind the boot) that spins in order to adjust the toe by spinning in/out of the outer tie rod. The inner tie rod should stop spinning once the adjusting nut is tight. Inner tie rods don't usually break unless they are bent.
If your fluid level has remained the same and there are now spots on your driveway I would think the rack is not leaking. If it's severly leaking you will hear the steering fluid pump screeching in the morning or during full turns.
I would unbolt your outer tie rods from the wheel hub and see how their ball joint feels.

finally was able to get under the car to take the picture.
as you can see the oil is pretty much all over the bolt area. I looked at the fluid level and that is still the same. there are no leaks on the ground and the pump does not make any screaching sounds. i did look at the boots and they seem to be in good condition and do not have any tears or leaks coming form them
I was able to take a small video of how i am able to move the tie rod. I know i tried moving the tie rod on another G like this and was not able to at all. so i am not sure what exactly the issue could be. either outter tie rod or the steering rack itself or both.

They move a little bit even with low mileage on them. Tough to say if you need a replacement without feeling the ball joint myself. If you disconnect the outer tie rod, jiggle the ball joint, and hear the joint hitting metal - that would be a good way to see if you need a replacement. Also if the ball joint doesn't spring back.
Your steering rack seems OK!

Well, I don't see the picture you said you posted. If the fluid is a continuous leak, meaning it comes back after you wipe it off, then I might consider replacing it. I mean mine was leaking pretty bad, I had spots ALL over the driveway.
If your bolt looks like what Blue Dream posted, then don't worry about it..
