Any advice for cleaning up the TB & timing chain cover?

Someone is selling a polished timing chain cover, but replacing that goes beyond my mechanical abilities.

Yea same here. I definitely don't want to take all them pullys off and have to reseal the cover. I've just been using sand paper on it by hand. I'm about to invest in a dremel here pretty soon.

bought some recaros for 10$ on ebay to see how shoulder pads would look inside the car.
its ok but they seem to get caught either inside the seat belt holder ( to the right of the head rest ) or it gets caught short while retracting back into the side of the car and seat belt buckle hangs on the seat.

Put on some Citcuit Sport Hood Dampers, easy easy instal. From unboxing too finished in a half hour. Also did Diode MAP lights, along with side corner lights. Lights look sick during the day, and will even look better at night. Hood Dampers are amazing. Would recommend!

Anyone had those dampers for a significant amount of time? The ones on my old camaro would always go out after a couple months, but that hood was probably twice as heavy..

I've had NRG Hood Dampers installed for 7+ years now with no issues. Recently installed aluminum overlay to underside of hood and dampers still strong holding hood up.

So my cel came on the other day and I'm pretty sure it was from my furookie intake the code was saying I was running to lean. I put the stock one back on reset the ecu and car runs fine now. And I have a tune. Anyone know why just the intake would throw that code?

Were there any kinks in the vacuum hose on the intake?

Testing fitment. Look at that bent metal on the front impact bar compared to the straight one. Look like an accident to you too? Lol

That's the problem with buying these types of cars used, man. Never know what the boy-racer before you put it thru. Doesn't look too serious tho. Just a bit unnerving.

Just for the record, the Larger y - pipe definitely took away some of the chewbacca effect.
