It doesn't look like there's a valve in the picture but I thought the valve was meant to stop the flow of hot coolant to the throttle body on warm days so the engine is taking in cold air. Then on cold winter days you turn the valve on so the coolant runs through the copper piece and warms the throttle body preventing it from freezing.
That's incorrect, the coolant flows through the plenum & the plenum warms up the throttle body. The valve is used to turn the coolant off for summer to keep plenum cool then back on for winter to prevent throttle body freezing.

The kit you bought is the cooper kit, which means you install that cooper piece to isolate the heat between the TB and plenum. So right now your coolant flows through that cooper piece to keep TB warm and wont freeze yet your plenum will be cool and no need to open & close valves.

The up side is I can get dimensions for everything for later down the road. Hoping to fab a custom s/s exhaust and add a better muffler when time and funds permit.
I'm a little apprehensive about the resonator, though and hope it doesn't change that sound I've come to love. Got to better than a delete though.
Here[]'s a pic of some of my handy work.

I have an extra cam if anyone is interested. PM me!

To connect to the dashcam via the Android app.

Once connected to the dashcam on your smartphone, you can change your settings, view previous recordings or watch a live view of the current recording on your phone or tablet.

Blackvue Android App

Watching Live Recording on my tablet

If you have the "power magic" adapter, you can view live recordings from your house while the car is parked on the driveway.
But you have to be really close to the car so its kinda pointless. lol (your results may vary)

Nope. Idiot hunters, after my accident three years ago I learned my lesson. This would have made my life much easier.

I really really need to stop slacking on getting one of these.

My buddy with a Mazda6 has one on his car and his records front, rear, interior and audio all in HD. It's a lot of fun rewatching the near misses and funny conversations in the car. xD

It's actually an air manifold for a pharmo company. I do sanitary stainless work. If only I could get a chance to play with the old tube bender at work. Fabbing an exhaust using fittings and custom cuts would be time consuming. Material is somewhat cheap. $4.50 ft for .065 x 2.5" tube. Labor on the other hand...... Think a z tube and airbox is going to be the first practical step.

You should make me a bozo exhaust. One that can connect to the oem mid pipe.

Wow, he went a lil overboard. If you want the same cam I posted, hit me up. I have a new one sitting collecting dust.

Yep, I had so many close encounters, wish I did this a long time ago.

The closes and scariest was me driving 45+ on the hwy, and some idiot, out of no where decided to make a left and merge onto traffic. Idiot was inches away from hitting my driver side door. I had to swerve and avoid hitting the car to the right of me. It was close but we all made it without a scratch.

Must be the rear active steering and the powers that be.
