As someone who lives in a rural area and does a lot of nighttime driving I can damned sure appreciate a light bar but I'm curious how it looks in the day, I just don't know where you would mount one that actually looks decent on the G35.

Ohh ok. Is it an actual halo or just backlighting?

If u have a Kuruma bumper u can probably mount it deep inside the lower intake.

Actual halo, around the whole bar and around the lights.

I mounted mine out on the front of the bumper because my plate was in the way of my intake.

Had some condensation in one of my headlights. Hopefully it's not related to a deeper problem (FWIW, TYC sells entire headlight assemblies on Amazon for ~$275 vs the OEM ones at $1000+). How did I fix it ? Used my wife's heating pad !! Varied it from low to medium heat and set a timer for 30 minutes and I'd move it to avoid any chance of heat damage (doubtful, but better safe than sorry). Took maybe 6 hours total, over two days, but it was sitting in the garage doing nothing anyway. I even took it through a car wash after the 1st day and I didn't notice more water after that.

Front and rear cameras, tire pressure for all four tires can display on screen, folding side view mir
Test drove a Tesla Model X today
Very fast acceleration.
Didn't care for the gull wing doors as they let all the heat out of the vehicle on a chilly NJ day
Much prefer the Model S

Nice

I've been contemplating another coupe myself. I'm thinking about a Maserati Gran Sport, Bentley GT, or an Aston Martin. I don't want to give up my G though. It's seen me through a lot without causing any problems.

Finally got some pictures of the new brake ducts installed. These should improve the airflow out of my splitter and clean things up a bit

Old setup with the flexible ducting blocking the outlet of my splitter:

New high mounted carbon ducts that allow for full lock to lock movement of the wheel and keep the ducting out of the splitter outlet:

Unfortunately it looks like that's it for now for composite work in the garage. It's getting too cold in NJ for me to get anything done. I was hoping to at least get a mold made for the mid car interior brace, so I got everything ready to make the mold, then waxed it:

But it all went to shyt, either the temperature was wrong or I laid up the first layer of the tooling gelcoat too thick. It lifted from the mold and my only option was then to strip and toss. The remnants of the mold in the trash:

So it looks like that's it for this season. I can't keep the garage warm enough with the doors open and keeping it closed means the house begins to smell of epoxy and gelcoat....big time no bueno with the lady. Time to work on a few other things besides composites over the winter I guess.

Mad props. It looks like you're building a Singer version of your G. Hope you plan on selling your mods for others to buy.
