It looks like they just covered part of the light. As much as people pay for the 06 lights as an upgrade, this looks like a pretty cool, inexpensive, temporary mod. I like it.

Actually, I don't think it will work with an 06 light since it isn't flat.

That G looks...

Incredibly tired and lazy from the rear end.

Again/ you like the look which is important but I'm onboard with the rest- my vote is that back end is exhausted from trying to be anything but what it is underneath. Kind of like Mel Gibson.

Generally it's good form not to be angry looking in the rear end. This goes for all manners of life forms- transformers... humanoids... or otherwise.

Unless you want to be this guy:

Anyone remember who this is?

I'm not a huge fan of the lids. I see what they're trying to do, but by cutting the brake lights in half, it will give too much of an evil sneer from the back end.

The only car that IMO has been able to pull off this look is OCG35's. He did extensive work to his car though, molding the lights into the bumper, molding the lip spoiler into the trunk, etc. Thread can be found here: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...-works-11.html
