Angry Fk Scammers

I wanted gold Godspeed project type 4 lug nuts for when I get new rims and for my birthday my awesome girlfriend decided to get me a set. She bought me a set off eBay (WAIT BEFORE YOU GIVE ME THE EBAY TALK) since godspeed themselves don't ship to Canada, not only that but there aren't many closed end extended lug nuts in gold.
Since Godspeed is selling them for $45 on their website and this a$$hole http://www.ebay.ca/itm/181480305424?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITwas selling it for $49 USD I didn't think that they would end up fake since they cost more. All in all, I guess this is a lesson learnt, if you're buying from eBay don't trust anything. Don't think I'm going to tell my girlfriend they were fake since she won't be too happy about it and its the thought that counts!

Well, these are only my observations
1) Packaging is way off, the real ones are packaged much nicer
2) The company logo is supposed to be imprinted on the end, which its not in this case
3) The groves at the end are supposed to be much deeper
4) Came out the box slightly scratched already
5) The key is rusting from the inside
If you're looking for lug nuts, I'd suggest buying them from a trusted retailer. Learn from my mistake! Also, if you're from the states, Evasive Motorsports seem to be having a sale (I wanted to buy from them but if was difficult to have it shipped to Canada)

And regarding the 99.4%, the buyers probably didn't know any better.

Message the seller, the picture is clearly not the same as the item received. They should give you a full refund (including shipping) according to their policy

"shipping charge will be deducted from the amount of your refund if the reason for your return is not the result of our company error"

Having the inaccurate picture for a product is clearly the companies error. If they don't respond within a timely manner open up a paypal/ebay dispute. ebay favors their buyers, they probably see this all the time..I'm sure the seller has a few disputes under its belt already which would help your case.

I really want to do this, but at the same time I don't want my girlfriend to know that it was a knockoff since it was on her eBay. Man so many decisions to make, I sent them a message through mine so if they can get it done there that would be awesome, if not I'll just take it as a lesson learnt.

Haha I get that, but it's not HER fault, remember...it's the companies . plus if you dislike em so much, not putting them on your car might offend her more then telling her they're the wrong ones, lol.
