I was the same age when i got my G (started driving when i was 15) and ive been doing pretty good. If you can afford it and know how to drive responsible why not. Ive never gotten in an accident or hit anything and its been three years

a Honda Accord is an amazing first car, it'll be easier on everything, including your wallet. what year are you thinking of getting?

Yup, stable, easy to drive, can't lose control easily.

My G/F has an accord. I want to punch babies when I drive that thing.

Agree. I have a 2006 6MT V6 Accord, and it's a great car. The "V6" emblem on the 6MT is red -- if you see a black "V6" emblem, it's an auto.

Curious on what your 250hp car that you drive?

200-250hp car is plenty for someone your age. I wouldn't exactly recommend a G35 as a first car for a 16yo, but an 04 G35 is getting up in age now. I would probably suggest a 2000-2002 Maxima SE or Honda Accord as your first car.
