155K on a lady driven coupe.

I just bought a 05 G35 coupe 5AT with 155K miles from a lady friend. What major issues should I be looking for? How many miles is the trans good for?? I know about the oil consumption but could not find any info on transmission longevity. I'm in it for a fair price but don't want to work on it either, lol

It all depends on how well she maintained it. Did you ask?

My co-worker has 2 dash lights on when he drives. He waits for the 3rd one (oil) before checking it. He drives an accord, but you get the idea.

Transmission longevity is a combination of MAINTENANCE and ABUSE. Drain/fill the tranny every 30k with Matic-J or Matic-S (not powerflush unless you want to buy a new one) and drive reasonably and it will last for 250k+

My 2005 G35 Coupe 5AT went to 380,000KM before I sold it if that's any consolation. Zero issues besides brakes, wheel bearing, ball joints, and other wear and tear parts. I flushed the transmission fluid once somewhere around 200,000KM.
