Hello guys I’m having a problem which literally is freaking me out, this is my first post since i never found someone with the same issue on the internet , if im not mistaken this problem is starting to happen after driving for like 30 minutes to an hour and thats when the car is fully warm, while I’m driving normally or hitting the gas pedal a little bit , the rpm jumps up while the mph stays the same as if i switched to neutral, and then i get at check on my clusters, when i release the gas pedal the rpm drops down and then i drive again normally, until it happens again randomly without any warning , anyone had a similar issue that could offer me some help? Thanks in advance

 

Sounds like a transmission issue, assuming it's an automatic. Clutch issue would behave the same, but you wouldn't get a CEL.

 

Your AT check light is on, the car is literally telling you what the problem is, plug in a scanner and pull codes.
