Spark plugs/coil problem

I just changed my plugs and put in the denso tt iridium plugs and my car is running like crap, I had issues pulling out the boot with the plug, I ruined a.couple boots and had to improvise and get a couple off my parts G35 which is 2 years newer and a g35x. Please help?

As long as it was from the same motor the boot will work. VQ35DE motors had a replaceable boot, I don't know for sure but I assume the HR motor had replaceable boots as well but I can pretty much guarantee they are not interchangeable.

To prevent the boot from sticking on the plug in the future smear a little dielectric grease on the rubber inside the boot, then they will come off easily in the future.

Those boots must be in 100% perfect condition, no cracking, scorching, etc. Otherwise they will essentially "leak" voltage out to ground against the well tube.

Are you 100% sure you didn't swap the coil pack harnesses? It's VERY VERY easy to make this mistake.

DE motor harness colors, each harness will have a white/blue stripe wire and a black wire. Ignore those ones, here is the color for the third wire.

Cyl 1, yellow/red stripe
Cyl 3, blue/red stripe
Cyl 5, purple/white stripe

Cyl 2, green/red stripe
Cyl 4, grey/no stripe
Cyl 6, grey/red stripe

Probably mixed up the #4 and #6 coil wires. Definitely dont drive the car like that. It will mess up your catalytic converter. Ask me how I know 😁
