new account here, been using the site since before ownership of this beautiful ugly masterpiece, she’ll be pretty one day
as the title says it’s recently developed a trans leak, from the front and rear of the engine bay(rear leak might be oil along with trans fluid) toward the front I’m thinking it’s a trans cooler hose leak could it be the same toward the back? It leaks when running and toward the back it drips on the passenger cat. I noticed it on the way to Chicago for work and saw some smoke under the hood and in the middle under the car at a red light.

while I’m here tho I should mention from day one the car has a delay in shifts but always shifts just a half second or so after I engage, is that normal or is the transmission cooked?
previous owner said “infinitis just do that” lol I deep down know it’s a problem

any words of wisdom would be appreciated

U can see some fluid on the ground here either oil or trans fluid

Probably just a leaking transmission line, and the delay in shifts is likely caused by low transmission fluid level due to the leaking.
