Doesn't have an auxiliary input (which might not be that common on other 2005 cars, but it would be nice). Has buttons that get stuck. And it doesn't read the display information correctly (or at all) on more than half of the CD's I own.

On top of that, it's not an overly good sounding stereo system. Especially not for a "luxury" car.

There are other little gripes, but I haven't even had the car a year yet, so I'll reserve judgment.

My stock Bose is starting to act up. It started when the weather got colder and there wouldn't be any audio until the interior of the car is warm which is approximately 15 - 20 minutes. Once the interior is warm out of no where the music would kick in and if the volume is high it would scare the crap out of me lol. Looks like I'm gonna have to get an after market system

On a side note, my rwd sedan is not too bad in the snow. I got a set of Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3's on it and the car has been good so far, to be honest I really underestimated it. It's also a lot of fun too

I was rocking stock Bose system w dd HU and the sound was a hundred times better. If you are on budget you will still spend less than new speakers and amps.

Usually that becomes a problem with that awful Bose amp. You can just switch out the amp with a cheap craigslist specimen for $40 tho. Probably the cheapest easiest way.

I agree about the stock amp. After hearing the difference I got bit by the bug and ended up replacing both amps speakers and two 10 inch subs in the trunk 1080 on each side.

I agree on the exhaust, but I need loud music to drown out the front end clunk I just got! Merry Christmas to me. Hope its the steering knuckle ball joint cuz that's the next thing on my repair list. That's another thing I hate! The amount of crap front suspension parts.

Do you hear a clunk when changing direction of the wheel at low speed? I'm trying to locate my latest clunk. Where is the steering knuckle (checking FSM now)?

I hate how its just sitting in California gathering dust, while I'm here in Africa getting covered in dirt and wont be able to drive for at least another 5 months.
