Too good for VDC!?
With engines this weak, I do say that under normal circumstances the G35 does NOT need VDC on...however, it can be of aid during emergencies. Since this is my daily driver, I leave it on, no biggie. If this were to be a performance vehicle, VDC should definitly be turned off for having fun....it seems very intrusive in this car over other brands with similar technologies. Not only that, but when it intrudes, you're left with a paltry 220rwhp to get you back up to speed....double whammy.

As for a "paltry" 220rwhp, for 98% of the buyers out there, a car that can do mid 14s or less is plenty of acceleration. I've owned far more powerful cars in the past and I can tell you that even this car posses enough acceleration to easily get you in over your head on the street if you're not careful. Most people can't handle nor have the need for a car to go sub 14s.
