How could anyone NOT like the Nismo front bumper? Seriously? It's very OEM-y, and it just reeks of sex. Now, for like a KS kit, I would say that does look pretty dumb. I don't like over the top exterior modding. But subtle stuff like OEM-y parts (Nismo front, I really like the CS rear) just do it for me. Wheels are kinda up in the air. I love some, hate others. As long as they ain't donk 22s, and you like em, do it. But at least get a good offset ;D

Just the way I like it. Looks close to stock but is far from it. The only people that have a clue it isn't are enthusiasts.

Agree to some extent. But that's why it's our canvas to paint our own picture.

My .02 some body kits are ewwwww. a simple lip on the front and rear will do for me. as far as bringing the value down i think i will have to ummm dis agree to a certian extent.

Why? because most of us have the common sense to keep what we take off for this very reason.

So if i do decide one day i wouldl like to sell my G(highly doubt that) i can return it to stock with out having to buy more than a bolt or 2 get what its worth. then turn around and sell my tasteful mods and get more than what its worth.

stock = 18k
w/ aftermarket stuff may drop it to hmmmmm 16k
but i return it to stock sell sell the car for 18k, the rims for 2.5k, the rest of the stuff coudl range anywhere from 1k to 5k. depending on what you are selling. so potentially selll everything for 25-26k.

and you are talking trade in, most people dont do that round here because dealers dont care what you have. someone who is looking for the things you have will give you more than what its worth (blue book) because they know what they are getting. and its your car right if you like it and can afford it then do it.

TO EACH HIS OWN!

i have to say, aftermarket stuff definitely cheapens all cars. and it goes for all types of parts.

nothing is ever going to look as good as OEM 06 Sport Front Bumper / Sides / spoiler / tail-lights

nothing will ever handle as refined as the factory sport suspension with oem 19" rays. it might be tighter, or have less body roll. but overall for a luxury sport road going street car, nothing beats factory suspension

nothing will sound as good as the factory exhaust system -- all your fart cans just make it sound cheap, and for every resonator and cat you replace you're 1 step closer to sounding like a civic with a rusted out muffler
^ also nothing is going to perform significantly better than the OEM exhaust.. you can put long tube headers & an AAM 3" true dual on your 03 coupe but it'll never be as fast as the rev-up from the factory, which is nice and quiet!
nothing is more embarrassing than having a car with an exhaust over 100dB, being easily passed by a car that is nearly silent.

nothing will beat the braking feel and braking distance of the factory brembos or later redesigned larger calipers.

this list can go on forever. Nissan has a lot more experience, research, and people making products than ABC ricer brand that produces bolt-on parts for cars.
