homelink

Sure it's possible. You just have to purchase a mirror with the homelink and supply power to it if the harness is not already there. The transmitter is inside the mirror itself. However, once you learn the price of these things, you'll probably just end up using the separate garage remote.

ummm my homelink works perfectly... i love the clean feeling i have with it... no clunky garage door openers hitting me in the face anymore when they are clipped to the visor...
unfortunately there is still a visor that hits me in the face when i try to swing it all around ...
believe me guys... getting hit in the face with the visor hurts

for garage openers built after 1998 you have to have someone hold a button on the motor of the opener and also person #2 to be inside the car to program the garage button. if you need any help just PM me i'll try to help you. it's a little complicated but at the same time isn't

My homelink seems to keep "unprogramming" itself. It has happened about 4 times in 2 1/2 years.
BTW, you don't need two people to do the programming. Just put a ladder next to the garage door opener, push the button, climb down, then push the homelink button that is programmed about three times. You have 30 seconds, which is a lot of time.

It's fiddley to do, but stick with it and another pairs of hands helps too.
