I need some insight...
First, I wanna thank everyone for the feedback about my brake issue... apparently it was the brakes and I did get to go online and purchase the the brembo pads for under $200. Now I have another issue/ question to bring up, Is it possible to put in a factory navigation system in a coupe that originally never came with one and if so what about price? or does it just make sense to get creative and put in an aftermarket navigator?

yes you an add the factory Navi ....but its going to run you maybe double ...just like buying any part ...then the install $$
would be more economical to buy aftermarket
my opinion
or use analog navigation - a Mapquest print out...LOL
Haha but yea on serious note...it be way cheaper and way better to get an aftermarket system for the car. Do what Im gonna do, do a double din conversion and that way you can keep a real clean but hott look. Get an Eclipse system or Pioneer that has DVD/NAV in it and then you can have the best of both worlds! And it will DEF be way cheaper even with the install than to take it to infiniti to have them put an OEM Navi in your car.

I remember another member wanting to add the factory navi into his non navi g and the dealer quoting him ~5-8k I believe. Its definitely not worth and way cheaper to get the aftermarket systems..More options and cost saving saving....
Good luck

And also I have seen the double din conversion with the pioneer set up...that is a nice clean look also...
Or you can always go with what ALSG35 said...depending on what look you want its a portable system...I've seen it and like he said youcan move it from car to car.
plus you dont have to rip your whole car apart and buy a bunch of other stuff just to put a clean Navi/radio system in the car...but you may be looking for the "looks like it came like that" look
all in all ..I think everyone agrees that installing the factory Navi is the most expensive way to go
i got the garmin c340 and best $$ you can get for a nav system.
i got an audiovox NVX226 new that i'm selling for $275 if you're interested PM me. great navi system for the money

ha ha.. Get ya hustle on Kenny..lol
I would look into the pioneer z1 due to its price ( 1100-1300 on ebay). It has all the perks of a navigation system with a built in hard drive; you can rip cds directly to it with the addition of an in dash 6 cd/dvd changer...best bang for the buck IMO.
