A ride in the Stllen SC

I went to Stillen the other day and asked to get a ride in their SC G35 jokingly, and Dean(the sales rep)said "hold that thought" as he went in the back to fetch a spare race driver.Out came an older looking dude with an English accent saying,"you ready?" I just laughed in unbelief and said "you kiddig?" He took it easy to warm up the engine, then floored it reaching 100mph almost instantly. He must have been doing 120 towards these cars at a dead stop at the light about 100 yards away when he slammed on the brakes stopping faster than I'v ever felt.He did a few intense rolling punches and stopping to show how good the brakes are.
Anyways,I had fun & so did he.I liked most of all how quiet the SC was when cruising around.
Patience, patiance I'm waiting for their intercooler sometime next month then I'll make my decisions.

I would love to have the stillen SC because I love the internal design, but I just can't get over the stupid looking hood cowl you have to put on to make room for the SC to fit under your hood. That hood cowl is BUTT ugly in my opinion!

when i was in the back,i saw they were getting ready to install the new fiberglass one piece hood.It doesn't look as bad as the cowl.

Same here, Seems they could have designed a cleaner looking hood with one Hump, instead of TWO!

A Farrari looking hood with a functional hood scoop would be sick.

Re: A ride in the Stllen SC

I agree - I'd be all over the Stillen SC if the hood didn't look so bad. My last car was a Suby and I loved the hood scoop on it. A nice small hood scoop would look sick!!

Any idea if the hood scoop you saw was CF?
