Funny S***t
Something hilarious happened today that i though you all might enjoy hearing...
Today in miami, i was getting onto I-95 north from 12th street... The onramp to 95 was backed up past where i got on 836 west and so i had to campout and try to merge in.
Me and this guy in a ford explorer tried to exploit a truck driver and pull infront of him... the truck driver was crazy, and traffic was moving in occasional 20 foot bursts. everytime there was any space the 18 wheeler would SLAM on the gas, close the gap, and slam on the brakes "He almosted rear ended the guy infront of him at least 15+ times." The guy infront of me kept playing cat and mouse with this fool and eventually after 10+ minutes and a quarter mile of this, the guy in the ford pulled a reall quick nudge left, and got his nose in, and the truck stopped literally an inch from this guys ford! he pulled all the way in on the next burst, and he put it in park!, and signaled for me to pull in front of him, and we both then signaled for all the cars trying to merge in, to go in front of us, after about 10 cars, we flicked off the d*ck truck driver and the guy in the ford yelled to me "sweet car" and we continued on...
It was funny as hell, it might have been one of those "you had to be there moments" ..but it was nice

Great move! Those $%^*&@ truck drivers are rude!

Yeah, but they take a lot of **** also... frustration does have to be pretty damn high for them.

Typical of Miami....
I commute to Miami every day for work, and can confirm that drivers in Miami got what they deserve, an award!
Yup, Miami was rated the city with the rudest drivers in 2002.
Not hard to believe considering the following:
1) The majority of people in Miami are self-absorbed and think everything, including traffic, revolves around them. They care more about J LO & Ben than being good drivers.
2) There's a large portion of the population that's either on vacation (don't know the roads), or are migrant/transient workers (don't care about the roads).
3) There's an even larger portion of the population that migrated from countries where there are no street signs, no stops lights, etc.; where they are not required to take a test to earn a driver's license; and where the native language is not English.
So congrats Miami!!! Good thing I live in Boca and can get out of the city before dark - LOL!

Driving in Hialeah near my house is like being in a third world country...people drive on the worng side of the road... they drive as if their are no rules, I once saw someone park in a left turn lane and walk across the street into mcdonalds, because their parking lot was full... Go Figure!

Re: Funny S***t
I remember when I went to Miami Beach on 4th of July for a vacation, one of those long a$$ metro bus decides to stop and park in the middle of Collins Ave. with people still on the bus. The driver gets out casually walks across three lanes of moving traffic and sits down to have an espresso at a coffee shop across the street and while all this is going on I’m stuck behind this bus saying WTF, WTF can you believe this sh*t!!! And I thought New York taxi drivers were horrible.

Hot4 where do you take your car to open it up. I found the best place was either the turnpike or the gator alley.
PS i went to FAU and lived in Boca for 11 years and then miami beach for a while. It's like 2 different worlds. Also the airstrip at FAU used for parking used to be good but I can't imagine getting away with it now.
