They don't change in-cabin filters at 15K anymore

Just passed the 15K service in Infiniti of Norwood, MA.
The manager told me that they don't change in-cabin filters at 15K anymore. Must be done at 30K.

Has anybody heard about this anywhere else?

I don't remember what it says in the manual, but this item only filters the air that you breath inside, hence the dealer might not consider this as a "must do" item. I changed mine recently myself at around 27K miles, and it was pretty black. I guess it's up to you if you want it done.

My dealer didn't do it at 15k. Didn't do it at 30k either. Which is fine - I noticed the local Advance Auto is now carrying the filter in stock, I can do myself and save.
