i'm getting warm/hot air thru my a/c vents. i'll have the a/c off and the vents on "circulate" so that i don't have air coming in from the outside, but i still get warm air coming thru the vents. is this normal? it happens on hot days or when i've driven the car for a while. just wanted to make sure nothings wrong.

is hot air coming from all the vents? or just the ones for your feet on the drivers side?

if its just on the driver side then nothing is "wrong." well you are not the only one anyway

lots of people have had problems with this and still no fix

but if hot air is blowing from every vent then something might be wrong..what temp are you set at?

My guess is that this is normal because your dash gets quite hot in the sunlight and combine that with the engine and transmission heat, it won't take much time to heat up the circulated air.

i think it's from all the vents and not just my feet. i don't know about the passenger side. but on the driver's side, when i put my hands on the a/c vents, they come out of there too.

ah guys, i'm not using the fan to blow out air. everything is off and i still get warm air coming out of the vents while i'm on the freeway. it doesn't blow hard, but u can definitely notice air coming out.

Hot air from vents
What happens when you turn off your climate control is that the system switches to air flowing from outside (fan off). Whatever tempertature was last dialed in is what the incoming air tries to be. To fix this problem after you have turned off your climate control hit the 'MODE' button. You will then see the display light back up. At this point you can adjust the desired temperature.

i've done that. turned off the a/c, hit the mode button, hit the recirculate button, and my temp. always says 60 cuz that's where i set it at. but i still get warm air.
