Best RPM to launch at with 6MT

Hey guys everytime i take off i always wonder whats the fastest RPM to take off at i usually take off at around 2700 but when i take off at 4 it feels faster and im not sure if its just because it peels out more what rpm do you usually drop clutch at on take off?

And you guys get pissed when your clutch blows up at 15K....

i think its reasonable if you have 15000 milse a year on a 1 year lease no?

whoever drive like an old lady should just buy a corola or a camry......usually people rev up arround 2.5-3k RPM if you do more than that you'll spin the tires...

You guys are confusing me.

So you rev up to 2500 for daily launches on the street?

And I was trying to keep mine under 1500

too bad the clutches suck so much that when u keep it under1500rpm, u'll hear clutch chatter and ppl'll think u either dont know how to drive stick or theres something wrong w/ your 40k$ car!!!

Ok i think you guys are taking this forum wrong im talking about if your racing and you want a perfect launch so you can smoke the guy ur racing what rpm do you keep it at before you drop clutch i mean is it ok for your tires to spin a little? what rpm do you drop clutch on in a race? sorry for getting this thread wrong.

I give the throttle a little blip and then let the clutch out while feathering on the throttle again. If I need to get out of hole quickly I do the same thing but only faster. I don't get any clutch shutter and I've never had to replace a clutch with this method during the 22 years that I've been driving manual tranny's.
