Why no "Super Hicas" 4 wheel steering on G's

I was wondering how come Infiniti did not employ the "Super Hicas" onto the G's. They were on the 300ZX twin turbos. Pardon my knownledge, is it because it is a over 10 years technology ?

My guess would be either to keep the cost down or the technology isn't all that useful.

Worked pretty good for a stock car but as you added power you had to disable, can't remember why though.

Both....

The balance on the G is excellent. The HICAS system only moves very little, like 1~2 degress if I remember right.
I hated my Super HICAS on my Z, after time some of them go bad and throw you alignment off.

I had to get rid of my HICAS system b/c with drag radials, it makes the car go crazy. Almost slammed into the wall once!

- Don't argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.=P-

HICAS issue

I got an 06 g35 6MT with HICAS and I’m having the following issue weird rattling causing car to slightly shake while the key switch is positioned “ON” (the one before the car is actually on !) what’s wrong with it ? Can I just pull the fuse and drive it like that is it safe ...

Yes you can pull the fuse, or pull the harness off the RAS actuator at the rear differential. You will have the RAS error code but there's nothing unsafe about disabling the system.
