MT slip: OK to worthless in 7 days

Im sorry if this is a repost, I attempted a search, but didnt find what I wanted fast enough. I drive an 05 6MT coupe. 7 days ago I noticed the clutch was slipping. I called the dealership and he said to wait to bring it in and to see if it got worse.
It barely drives at this point. I think my 0-60 time is about 45 seconds. Im not exaggerating. Im going to drive my winter beater to work tonight.

What is wrong with my car? It CANT be the clutch at 22K, can it? Even if it was, they dont go from OK to worthless in a week, do they?

Thanks in advance!

Did they make you pay for it? My boss has an Audi TT with 60K on her first clutch. There is no excuse for this.

Did mine sound like your problem? How many miles? I dont want to be a douche and make a scene if this is normal.

Hmm, most dealerships consider clutches a wear and tear item, hopefully they cover it

Agreed, but at 22K? There are lots of 300 HP cars that last much longer.

A good dealership would replace it, a bad dealership will try and blame it on your driving habits.

I had an 04 6MT with no problems and worries til it got totaled, R.I.P., but my 05 6MT, I got stuck on the side of the road with less than 6K+ miles and it needed to be replaced already.

Now I am at the replacement double point of the original mileage and I still worry every time I drive if this P.O.S. is going to go out on me.

Why couldn't they just have something like the ATS Twin Carbon Clutch as the stocker!!??

For the sake of future searches

The clutch was worn out. It is being replaced at no cost to me.
I even got a fully loaded QX56 to pimp while the G is getting fixed.
