removing dead pedal?

removing dead pedal?

I tried removing mine today but had some trouble...

i tried turning the 2 plastic screws counterclockwise but it woudnt come out.. all it did was make this clicking noise...

any advice?

You only need to turn the screws 1/4 turn. Then they should pull out.

Correct, 1/4 turn and they *should* come right out, but the don't always cooperate. To help it out, you can pull on the top when turning the screw, then do the same on the bottom, then the top, and it will seesaw out easily. To put it back in, just line up the screws and push, then 1/4 turn.

Actually, when I changed the pedals to aluminum on Sat, only one of the screws released. The other one I just pulled straight up. The replacement also does not "screw" on. It just pushes on. Now a question.....why do you want to remove it? You replacing it with aluminum pedals?

I adjusted my clutch pedal height......plus im ordering the alum pedals
