My damn passanger window does this too. If I open the door the window comes 1/2" down like it's suppose to, but when I close the door it stays down. My driver door goes back up when I close it. Warr?

yea lol happened to me too. They'll basically reset the window motor. I had it done on both sides simoltaneously ahha.. However if it keeps on happening after that then they'll replace the whole motor.

Yup, the infamous coupe window problem. Both of my windows started doing this around 30,000 miles. Whenever I used the auto-up feature, the window would go up, then drop halfway.

Took it to dealer, they were well aware of the problem and replaced both window motors under warranty. They said that a lot of the motors "just go bad." Hmmmm.

Anyway, so I'm driving yesterday and my passenger window all of a sudden does it again! Argh! You would figure they would change the window motor type or come up with some reliable fix, but for now, the car is going in again.

If you do a search, you'll find 100 of these threads on the motors.

same here on the passenger side. my quick fix is to not use the auto up. if i 'manually' move it up, it'll stay up.

very strange.........1 of 3 things

1. Your window motor is all fcked up
2. Someone tried to break into your car
3. You held the unlock button down for a lil and the windows came down
