WTF!! Infiniti BLOWS!! $690 for diagnostic testing

Guys guys.. I appreciate everyones input. Initially I thought it was accident related. Obviously NOT. Quite alright.. it's all stock. NOW... if it happens again.. I WILL revisit this issue!

They replaced the AEM with a stock intake and it ran better, you said yourself that it happens when you decelerate, IE lift off the throttle, a known problem with some aftermarket intakes. Why wouldn't they charge your for their time when they found out a non Infiniti part was what caused the whole problem in the first place. Put the stock back on and it'll probably solve your problem. In addition, it took Infiniti 6+ hours to figure it out???
Come on. That infiniti stealership probably should have taken that intake off first and tested it. Maybe 2 hours at most. They most likely milked him for everything they legally could get away with. I would be irritated with Infiniti dealership also, but mostly with myself for not checking with everyone here.Hindsight is 20/20 or in his case 20/30. I bet that he will learn to check here next time before going off to Infiniti on his own.
