Congratulations, the CS is a great handling car. I test drove one and considered buying one, but I'm concerned about its resale value. I typically keep my cars for only a couple of years and don't want to take a real bad hit when I sell. There's just not a big market for two seaters.

One of my neighbors bought a Boxster S for his wife for Christmas. He paid $65K for the car, and he had to sell it last Spring because his wife didn't like the harsh suspension. It's unfortunate he didn't buy her the base Boxster because it's suspension is designed more for the street than for the track. Anyway he traded his wife's Boxster S for a MB. The Dealer only gave him $50K for his car on a trade-in. That's a hell of a hit for five months and 1500 miles. BTW he tried to sell privately for almost a month, but all he got was low ball offers.

Hmmm, one is an econobox turned into a boy racer, the other possibly the best handling, and also possibly simply the best all- around sports car, in the world.

Just a hunch, but I think I know why you haven't been getting the Evo Q much.

Awesome buy. Pictures when available, please.

Cheers,
Derek

congrad man, i love the Cayman. it's already been said that overall, it's actually better than 911..except it doesnt have the power to match (unfortunately). awsome choice tho.

what happend to the Masarati coupe that you mentioned? those are nice too.. altho i would still take a porche over the Masarati.. it maybe more exotic but it's not as good of a sports car as the porche.

Caymans are sweet cars, but much smaller in person than I would have guessed.
