Not only small turbos but varible vane types. Even better at reducing turbo lag. New Acura RDX feature this type of turbo also

No they are parallel turbos, one each for 3 cylinders. Oh BTW, the 328, 330 and 335 are all 3 litre engines.

I just wish i can make my 06 G35C as fast as a 335ci with out FI.
275WHP is crazy.
Porsche 996 C2 is running around 250~260whp and that is already giving my G a very hard time to tag along.

I'd rather have the natural power of the G than the turbo headaches of the bimmer. Plus, the G looks better.

The 335i looks like a sedan with only 2 doors. LOL!

The '08 G35 Coupe will do 0-60 in virtually the same time as the 335i.

VQ35HR= greatest V6 ever

Yeah, the trunk is a little too long for a coupe. They should of shorten it. Test drove the car on August 19th on autocross setup track. That is a nice car. I got to say, it handles alot better in twisties then the G. I didn't notice that much turbo lag. Man I love the seatbelt extender. When you get in the car, a rod actually extend the seatbelt to you so you won't have to reach all the way around or looking for the seatbelt. It retracted once you are buckle in.

well...I live in Hawaii, everything here is overpriced. a nicely eqpt M3 here costs over $65k, Chances are the 335 is going to be around $50k - $55k. Yet the Cayman costs under $60k, a fully loaded M45 costs around $65k, and the C6 is going for somewhere around $50k-55k as well. Take a vacation to HI and do some window shopping...you'll be amazed.

My next car will be from the mainland, somewhere in CA, near the docks.

not sure where you live, but i cant drive 15 minutes without seeing 2 or 3 g35's. not including sedans.

go for the bmw, infiniti is just not up to the standards of lexus or bmw. i've had so many problems with my g35, which reminds me every day that its still a nissan.

Dude, I love my G, but the 335 is SICK! I caught a guy testing one a few weeks ago down by the beach. I came up behind him like "what the hell is that?", because it kinda looked like a bimmer but had that black tape all over it. The thing looks mean, and is LOUD. It doesn't sound like your typical bimmer. The exhaust note was sweet, definitely will give the G a run for its money there. And yeah, its fast as hell too. I saw the post about 4.9s 0-60, seems about right. Its gonna be a sick car, but I still love my G.

A fully loaded '06 G coupe has an MSRP of $42,000. This is within 5 grand of a similarly equipped 335i, add the 4 year free maintenance from BMW and the 335i looks like a better bargain already.

If you can get over the looks of it, that is. Today we drove by an e90 sedan and my mom said, what an ugly BMW! I explained that it's the new 3-series, and she said, really, I thought it was an old model. In the new Motortrend article, the e90 330i looks like it was beat with an ugly stick with its Daewoo tail lights next to the '07 G sedan. Don't get me started on the e92 because it's an even bigger disaster. There's more to a car than 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.

first off so u guys know... expect the 325 and 330 to be a thing of the past because now they're only going to offer the 328 coupe and sedan and the 335 coupe and sedan... both will feature the same engines... i went to BMW and got one priced out for me... manager offered me one for $41k with Sports, Metallic paint, 6mt tranny and a new other goodies, with a $3500dp my monthlies came out to $507 a month including taxes... im paying $478 a month for my G right now...

Sadly guys the 08 coupe will in all likelyhood and 90% feature the same engine being used in the new 350z which will be the 306hp VQ35HR, same one the sedan is using too... those engines will be putting down conservatively 260whp the 275whp on a BMW will own us especially if its a force inducted 275 and not to mention while we struggle with meaningless bolt-ons to squeeze a few extra ponies the BMW driver will only need an exhaust and ecu program to squeeze out a couple dozen ponies and just slaughter us.... its just a sad fact of going FI, and with their small ball bearing turbos and heat protected engine they're not gonna have any lag or heating issues... BMW engineers great cars guys keep that in mind... sort of extensive bolt-ons the 08 isnt gonna smoke a 335i by more then a car length
