Blew my motor, Need a haynes manual

This sucks I blew my motor on my civic last week. I have donor civic at home so I'll be doing the swap myself. I went to auto zone to buy a haynes manual for my civic.

I didn't find one for the G35 Coupe, so I was wondering if anyone has seen one. I was going to stop by barnes and noble but haven't had a chance to yet.

Also Since I blew my motor, I went out and bought a 26gal compressor, with air gun and air wratchet from sear. I have a cherry picker and an asortment of tools. Now that I have the compressor and tools I can do alot of the installs of small stuff myself, like exhaust and other little things which I think is cool.

Its actually pretty fun to take my civic apart, makes me feel more in tune with my car's spiritual self.

Good manuals are like good tools, get the FACTORY service manual, skip the Haynes.
There should be links to some online or cheap sources.
Even if you have the manual on your PC you can print out pages you need, as you need them. In any case, do yourself a favor and stick with right manual.

I just seen the sticky for the service manual posted by someone to download. But it isn't the 06 manual.

I rebuilt a eagle talon motor using a Haynes manual and it was spot on! Very easy to understand and user friendly. I give it a big thumbs up!!

Try amazon.com

yeah, sometimes the Haynes manual is a whole lot easier to follow and understand. They take pics and show you a step by step instead of the line drawings that the factory manuals have.

I'll take the lousy explanations and great exploded drawings in the factory manual over the haynes any day. Try rebuilding a Jeep auto trans with a haynes, it CAN NOT be done. All it says basically is take it to a professional. Trans works great now but the transfer case is leaking from somewhere

And that's all fine for basic maintenance, and probably removing and replacing some parts. But for tear down of an engine, tranny, etc I would only trust the factory manual. Some pictures I've seen in Haynes look like some generic they apply to more than one vehicle.
Photographs in the factory manual would sometimes be nice too, but the drawings are quite clear, and very accurate.
