I have a 5AT so what fluid to use is not an option for me.
But I've read on some other car forums that syns in manuals can keep the syncros from working as well because the more friction-free quality of it.
Some were saying they could notice a difference when changing from non syn to syn. and the non syn was better.
I think this was on a 4Runner forum, and a different design could certainly be the reason. And maybe these are exceptions, because it seems most high performance owners like using Redline, etc.

amsoil made a difference in my 6mt. 2nd gear used to be more notchy but now it's a little less notchy. Other gears are smooth.

Stick with the factory fluid its already synthetic and is designed for the transmission. If you are still in warranty and change to after market fluid it can void the warranty.

Trust me and just stick with the OEM fluid.

Yep. Stick with the OEM fluid for your tranny. I suggest changing it at every 15k miles.

Nissan/Infiniti will have issues honoring transmission failure warranty if they find out you swapped out fluids other than oem, my dealer used to offer royal purple and redline manual fluid but stopped after they had issues trying to get warranty work

I don't know who "Manual" is and whether or not he is a "tranny", but I suggest you stay away from his "fluid".
