Front seet automatically slide forward?
A colleague has a 2003 G35 coupe. When you flip the front seat forward, it automatically starts sliding forward.
On my 2006 G35 coupe, I have to flip the seat forward, then press that tiny little button on the back of the seat. It is a pain having to reach over when I have guests and/or am trying to stuff something large into the back seats.
Is there any way that I can get my seat to automatically slide forward when the lever is flipped?

yea i have an 06 6mt and my friend has an 06 auto and his goes automaticly as well were i have to press the button. Between that and the intelligent key i guess they figure manuel drivers really arent lazy lol.
I have an 06 5AT as well, but i have to hit the button... There some setting i'm missing to make it auto slide? Does it only auto slide if you use that little lift handle on the back of the seat? I always use the side handle..

Sounds like Nissan was trying to fix the compaints about having to have the e-brake set before the seat slides forward. I'm not sure why they didn't have it slide when you lift the handle. Also wish the seat back went back to the original position.
my biggest complaint about the "automatic" seat is that it's about a 50/50 crap shoot as to whether or not it will return to it's original position when you tilt the seat back upright. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
When the seat is flipped forward, and you press the button to move back, you must wait for the seat to slide back before you flip the seat back. It staops when you flip the seat back.
This is a pain, especially when you have a guest getting in the car, because they will flip the seat back and then there is no room for them to get in the front seat. I have to move it back before they can get in.
I am not sure of Infiniti's logic in setting it up this way.
