Here's a good example of why I refuse to follow the many gardner trucks
that travel around my area......I wouldn't want a lawnmower thru my
windshield......plus their so damn slow!

Everytime I see those vans with ladders on their roof or sides I try to change lanes. After a ladder doing that at 60mph, nobody on this site will probably now that it happened to me.

 

wow.. i woulda chased those trucks down to get their plates and file a case with the insurance company as well as a police report. good to see you made it out ok and it was only a bumper that was damaged

 

That is some scary shit! I'm sure it's already been said, but you can get a brand new oem bumper, and have a bodyshop professionally paint it for much less than the $1000 you got quoted originally. Better yet, you can get an aftermarket bumper now...
