Any idea when the Vortec kit for the 06 6MT will be out. We have been waiting for a while.

 

There area few test cars out there with systems - release is supposed to be this or next month. FI expects to re-run a GB with the 06 kits at that time as well.

I spoke to Roger from JapTrix here in South Florida and he told me that the Vortech kit for the 2006 Coupe will be unveiled on 11/06/2006.

 

I am one of the test cars from Vortech, acually the first manual 06. What I can tell you is that they are going away with the SS box and they are going to use the Unichip as the piggyback to the ecu (thats whats in my car) They didnt give me a set release date when I left Vortech but they did say that it should be soon. I hope this helps everyone that has been waiting

Yep - supposedly you can retro fit the Unichip onto the older versions as well right from Vortech...don't know cost though...

 

Any update on the 06 6MT kit?
