A real drivers race would be a G35coupe vs BMW Z4

How about the BMW Z4 vs G35coupe.
Z4 3.0i 0-60 (5.6) 1/4mile (14.4@95.7) Nov 03, Motor Trend
G35 3.5 0-60 (6.1) 1/4mile (14.6@98.6) Nov 03, Motor Trend(most likely an automatic)
Z4 3.0i 0-60 (5.3) 1/4mile (14.0) Nov 03, Road & Track
G35 3.5 0-60 (5.9) 1/4mile (14.2) Nov 03, Road & Track (Stated 6MT)

Now, these two cars are a good match. A race between these two cars would be a drivers race!

if i remember correctly, motor trend never test driven automatic... i think either car&driver or edmunds did on AT... but 14.6 is too slow for either tranny...

are you kidding me. I was at the tracvk last week, and there was one there a manual one. sorry for my laguange but i f*cked him up bad. He thought i had engine mods when in fact i dont have anything. Well i got the injen intake sitting in my room waiting to get installed.

My dad has a Z4 2.5 and I raced a NON-TURBO new body style Supra. We went from 80 to 120 and I was dead even until 120 when I started to pull on him but veeeerryyy slowly nothing big. But anyways it is a great fun car and I can only imagine what the 3.0 is like.

According to BMW, the Z4 3.0 does 0-60 in 5.7 seconds for 6-speed, I believe. Either way, I have taken a few Z4 owners no problem, but I think they just weren't driving so well because the Z4 3.0 6-speed should have given me a good run !!
