The car always feels a little sluggish after a fill-up at Shell. Chevron seems to have been the best for my G35 so far.

Yeah, for whatever reason, the VQ engine runs well on Chevron. I noticed that with my 03 Maxima too. Other brands of gas, you get occasional pinging under load.

Well, I use Mobile and 76 - Mobile as the preference. Never an issue.

Try resetting your ECU and see what happens. Your running the normal lean state for our cars, and perhaps the reset will even it all out.
