CAI and Warranty?

Hey y'all! Do any of you G experts know if installing a CAI voids the warranty? The dealers can sell and install a Stillen CAI, but of course the price is pretty outrageous. But if I can pay an extra $125 and keep the warranty, I might as well do it.

The dealer can tell you anything they want about your CAI voiding your warranty. LEGALLY, they have no grounds to do this under Federal law as per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) unless your mod caused or contributed to the failure of your vehicle.
See: http://www.granatellimotorsports.com/magnusonmoss.htm

Fortunately, my brother and a few of my friends are attorneys, so when dealers have tired to tell me $hit like how my K&N air filter or CAI voids my warranty, I give them a copy of this law attached to my lawyer's business card. Its amazing how quickly this changes the dealers attitude on this issue.

It does not effect your warrenty. And if it does, just take it off before you go to the dealer.

Does Stillen even make a CAI for the G and Z? I thought they just had their short ram airbox thing.

sillen short ram airbox is the CAI because it has a heatshield and it forces the air to come in, even through the grill.
