I like the look of it. I think it looks much better than Solara and Accord coupe. And the wheels ain't too shabby either.

Now just imagine if the new Altima coupe owners put Infiniti & G35 badges and try to pass it off as a G.

I have to say it looks hot.. as to the posts of Altimas sucking.. I also own an Altima as well as the G... Nissan rocks! My Altima has been awesome to me.... Nissans just dont break. Put breaks, tires and your good to go.

regardless what kind of cars, newer cars will always have some type of new style or performance that people like. The best bet is to lease the car you like now and upgrade when the lease is up for the newer ride. So you can always driving a newer car.

Btw, everyone is comparing this 08 Alty Coupe to a current gen G Coupe. I think people should stick to comparing the same model year. We all have an idea what the 08 Coupe will look like and that doesn't resemble the 08 Alty Coupe in any way IMO. Just like the 07 Altima doesn't resemble the 07 G Sedan in any way.
Okay relax bud. Apparently there is no sarcasm is Canada

Just wondering, G35's in 6MT cost what now? 33k or so MSRP? For a comparable Altima, it'll probably run the same as the top of the line Accord, which is 29k.

That's a difference of 4k. What do we get for 4k? RWD, better suspension setup, etc., etc. Even if the Altima looks the same, I think the performance differences make up for the premium paid on G35c's.

Maybe some truth to that. It is interesting that Nissan went with a very G coupe inspired design as opposed to something more in line with Nissan's own two door coupe. I'm not sure if that means they're trying to keep the Z more of its own icon or they're admitting that the G coupe design is wildly successful and should be bastardized elsewhere...

What I dont like: Tow hook is on the right side of the front bumper which bothers me, the front grille is cheap looking, the car doesnt look nice when you look at it from the side-rear view, the headlights are "blah" looking, no side markers leaves it feeling empty from a g35 point of view, and it's front wheel drive.

Remember, not all of them on the road are going to be 3.5 liter, 270 hp. There will be a 2.5, 170 hp versions also.

When you park the Altima coupe next to a G35 coupe, the differences will be clear and the G35 will look better, trust me.

I'm happy with my G35. This doesn't bother me at all.

"the new 2007 Nissan Altima Coupe is the poor man's G35"

This says it all.

Who the H*ll wants a downgraded, lame version of the nicest car on the road?

It looks so cheap, from the grill to the center consele....I'll stick to my infinitis...
