a z tube is the intake tube from a 350z. it's a direct replacement for your stock g tube.

is this something that is proven or just stated from someone one time based on their own experience?

z-tube and K&N have the best spects for power as compared to all others, CAI apparently lacks low end power, given we'r only talking about 5 hp roughly

k&N filter, z-tube have the best ratings from what others have said and researched.

Injen CAI short ram style will sound the nastiest of em all. Intakes for our cars are for simply sound. We gain sh*t off them. The best sounding is without a doubt Injen.

ok,,,'
i jsut bought my 03 g35 auto,,
it has a cold air intake , looks like all the tubes are after market from intake manifold up to the filter. the filter sits in the lower part of the bumper..
Is this setup good??
it does make lots of intake noise,, i dont know if it adds hp,,, i tested my g35 with g-tech and only get 6.38 0-60 and 15.02 1/4 mi
seems slow
is my intake making the car slower?

i'm too lazy to find the quote but thats just what rick said. believe it. or dont.

all i know is that he has done more than his fair share of research and that is what he came up with.

If you plan to keep the car long then Z-Tube with Amsoil EAa drop in is best way to go. For me Amsoil filter > K&N filter because Amsoil filter doesn't require to use oil while K&N do. Also Amsoil filters more than K&N does. And that could help to keep your MAF and engine clean and safe.

If you plan to sell the car in the future then do whatever you want.
