Help me (fair maket value?)

Hi I recently totaled my coupe,, and insurance offered me 28000 for my 2004 5AT Coupe.

Is this right figure, my coupe has 28000+ miles and premium and 18" wheels package. Im just wondering if I can get more,,

Thanks fellas.

Having just bought my '04 AT coupe with 16K miles in October, I would say $28K is an acceptable sum from your insurance company.

That said, you may be able to squeeze another $500 out of them if you complain and ask them to re-assess it since it had (sort of) low miles and was in really "outstanding" condition.

Just remember they should include Sales Tax in their settlement

Insurance companies in most states use N.A.D.A., ask them what basis for appraisal they use. Go to the nada website punch in your values, it should be close....buit 28 seems right without looking.

And who told you that? Be happy if you get the retail and not wholesale price for your totalled car. $28K for an '05 with over 28K miles is a very fair price.
