Quote: anyways JWT i think is best from what i've seen and its CARB legal

I ask the other poster here to give me a date when they got the CARB approval? Am I the only one who don't know that it got approved? Like I said there is not aftermarket Turbo kit that is CARB approved and JWT so far is the closest because their kit pretty much uses a lot of stock parts.

To original poster, whichever the turbo kit you're going with...don't forget to add "Water Injection" system along the line as well. It helps to offset knocking a bit.

I recommend Aquamist S1 Water Injection System

Superchargers can still blow your motor, if you plan on running stock boosts then just get a turbo its still safe cause these kits are made to be safe at stock PSI. THey wont sell you a kit thats going to blow your motor at stock. IMO if you keep stock boost, you should be fine with Stock internals
Greddy TT or APS FTW :]

/\ Countless of Turbo kit that did blow on stock boost (Especially Greddy and TN with just reflash) having done it right is one thing but it is also how you use it that will dictate how your engine will last.

Ok well is there any way that i could put a turbo on my car without significantly reducing the life of my engine. Also if a sc is better on my engine in the long run then who makes a good one and will it fit w/o mods.

Sorry, i was mistaken, JWT is close to getting CARB exempt from what i read. Their kit though looks excellent. I am a huge HKS fan (had TO4Z in r32 gtr w/ many HKS goodies) so I thought the Power Enterprise kit would be the best bet but I think JWT, in my opinion, does a better job.

Sorry buddy but if you want to play you need to pay. Let's put it this way, if you want to go FI YOU MUST BE PREPARED TO BLOW YOUR MOTOR, not that it will happen but there is a great chance that it will. Ok, IMHO Vortech will be the safest of FI since the kit doesn't reach FULL BOOST until redline (Hope you don't drive to REDLINE every time ). Stillen SC is also safe since it cannot produce High HP/TQ to really create Havoc. With Vortech you can have high HP but the good thing (Maybe bad for others) is that you are not producing MAD TQ to really stress the engine especially on low to mid-range RPM. Turbo is also safe but just like APS advise, stay below 380WHP since Turbo will have higher TQ (almost equal the HP #). If you have a budget of 7K to go FI make sure you still have another at least 3K$ on the side just in case S4itt happen coz S4itt will happen or something needed to be added that you don't expect (Clutch/flywheel, axel, brakes upgrade, tires...etc)

Well thanks guys. My dream of FI has been shotdown like borat proposing to pamela anderson. I felt like a turbo would be the pinnacle of bolt ons (sort of). Well since FI is out of the question I can't decide what will make the best impact on my engine for the money w/o murdering my engine. Maybe exhaust. Maybe intake mods. I don't know. I got my G35 in May and I havent settled on anything except a turbo and now that thats out of the question (for now) I'm going to go cry in the corner until i think of something. Thanks again.
