Installed my JDM tails (with pics)

I know not everyone likes them, but I think they're pretty awesome. Took about 9 weeks to get to me, shout out to Chad from Riverside Infiniti for hooking me up with them!!

Took about 30 min to do both, swapped my Xtreme PIAA reverse bulbs from my old tails into the new ones. They're fairly red when the lights aren't on, I was worried they were going to be really really orange, but I think it's fairly subtle. I really like it. I think it looks pretty slick on the brilliant silver.

I'm also selling my old tails in the marketplace if anyone is interested

Ok i dont see a diff. between those and the regular 06 tails... i know u have an amber turn single rather then the red one but is that all??? I mean couldnt we just put an orange bulb in the 06 ones and call it a day? sorry but im just confused lol

neg.. ^^ .. the lense is still red.. so it really wouldn't do anything to put an orange bulb in there

Question about these tails: I have an 04 and I was wondering with these tails on my car would the trunk button on them be just for show or is it possible to make functional?

Don't know about that one, guess it depends on the pre-existing wiring.
I have seen 03-05 JDM tails with the amber turns. Chad had some awhile back before he got the 06's.

When I installed mine, the new 06 trunk button had a blue and black wire clip. I looked at the wires that were all clipped together running to the lights and didn't see any that looked similar. Perhaps you might just be able to splice them with the wires that pop the trunk on your keyfob?

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe we can spliced the wires to the Trunk Button up front (by running some wires). Doesn't sound hard at all. I'm sure someone like IvoryGT or KP could do an easy wire set-up for this (plug-and-play wiring).

Looks great. Can barely see the amber when the lights are off. Can't wait to get my lights, haven't heard from Chad in a looooooong time. When did you get your lights?
