Not everyone has their Rev Limiter set at the same rpm's, so this poll is pretty much pointless, but interesting nonetheless.

We're in a "Car Enthusiast" forum, yet according to the current poll, 20% of the people here (or atleast the voters) havent redlined their G

Interesting...

We're not talking street racing here...

It's actually lower than that on the pre-2005 Coupes. I believe the official redline is 6800 on those years and it got bumped up to 7100 for the rev-up engines that were used in '05+ Coupes.

I think I've only hit my rev limiter twice in this car that I remember.

Are some of you guys confusing the redline with the rev limiter? They're two different things.

Hitting the redline is not a big deal, bouncing off the rev limiter is another thing all together.

Yeah, according to the tach, redline is 6600 on my 04.5 6mt. Rev limiter is a few hundred north of that number. Somewhere around 7100 is my best guess. The car was flying sideways so I didn't get a chance to see the exact number but I definitely felt the fuel go bye bye.
