Depends on how you look at it - BMW rates their engines conservatively with all accessories loaded, whereas many manufacturers strip their engines before hooking them up to the dyno.

The comparisons I saw with the 330 and the G35 were against the sedan. The 330 (which I believe was actually a manual) was 0.1 seconds faster to 60. The coupe is a bit faster than the sedan, and given a 6M, I think would take the 330 by a couple tenths to 60, and easily outperform midrange.

magazines are bs they aco**** for all sorts of factors and modify the numbers
im going to the track this weekend its high altitude but well see how i do
all a magazine should say is the real time, and under bad conditions

-crumple zones are your friend
