i totally understand what you're saying. but the kid is asking for an opinion of what he should do. i am only giving him an opinion of what's best for him.

 

This happened to me in my younger idiotic days, but I was clocked going 131mph and boy let me tell you. I learned my lesson and will never go past 90 ever again. Fighting a ticket that is within reason like 70 on a 65 for 75 on a 70, is encouraged. But if you plan on fighting anything above that, I'd recommend a lawyer. Luckily, I was in the military and they gave me a "break" which amounted to $750 fine, 2 points on my driving record for 5 years, and a 30 day suspension of my license. He did not arrest me but warned me that I might not be so lucky next time and thanked me for serving my country. But it was definitely something that I learned the hard way. So, pay up and don't do it again.

 

yah i called my lawyer.. hes gonna take care of it for 350 bucks.. hopefully he wins
