Trunk lid swap, OMG UNICORNS!
Excuse the flashy title, I just wanted to draw you in.
Me and another member will be swapping trunk lids this weekend and I wanted to clear things up before we take our cars apart.
I know I will need a 3rd brake light now.
How does the 3rd brake light sit on the rear deck?
Will it sit on my rear deck the same?
How much modding to my deck will it take to get it mounted correctly?
And as for the spoiler wiring.
Does the spoiler and 3rd brake light connect to the same connector?
Will it be a straight plug and drive swap, electronically speaking?
I know I could find this out by simply taking them apart. But the more information I have before we start the smoother it will go.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks alot guys.

are you talking about the coupe without the spoiler?

to do it right i think you need to also swap rear deck lids. The brake light fits into a cut out area in the deck lid, so you will need that deck lid (and center brake light) from the other car.
As for electrical connections, i think you should just be able to plug it into existing wiring, as they should be wired the same.
try forum search, i have seen several threads with pics, & wiring connection info where people have done this
