I agree, keep an eye on oil level everyday.
I have an 06 with 8K miles on it, and added 6+ quarts of oil to it between the oil changes. First time when I started the car I heard a knocking noise, added 4 quarts to bring it to level, 2000 miles later same s..t. Added 2 quarts and drove the car straight to dealer. Now they droping new motor in it.
