According to him, the car will be repaired.

I don't want to repair it! I am pissed. What should I do? My attorney is handling everything so I have to wait until tomorrow morning. $6,200!?!?!

$6,200 = a sh*tty repair job.

that's not right. frame alone would be around that price, and the LABOR alone will be that high...all that body work and replacing the sides and rear...that's a lot of welding panels.

and if they don't tell you the right number for your car, or they lowball you, you can force them to replace it with a car of equal value: IE a 2005 exactly like yours with the same options.

Dude, at least here in Texas, SUV drivers are out of fuc_ing control. They really do think they own the road and try to bully anything smaller than them. They dont understand that they woulod have to get out of their truck sometime and show how tough they are and not their g0ddamn fuc_ng SUV.

this is a real sore spot for me, they really are getting out of control.

OH $HIT, I'm hurting just looking at those pics. Glad you're still alive and well. I despise SUV's, especially when there's an idiot at the helm. People are wising up though. The bottom line of our domestic manufacturers is a good indicator of this.

Oh yeah, and they'll probably fix the damn thing. That's one downfall of our cars retaining value so well—insurance co's are less apt to total the vehicle out.

I wouldn't want the car after that. I'd be hoping they total it.

I live south of Houston, I agree 100%. Don't limit it to SUVs though, the full size-extended-dually-lifted-oversize tire frickin trucks are as bad or worse.

Just wanted to give everyone an update. Insurance has totaled my car. The case is still pending but highway patrol and insurance has already determined it's the jeeps fault. Now I'm just finishing up my chiro treatment and I have a laywer that's handeling everything.

EDIT: Sorry didn't realized that my brother logged in with his account 'denny909'. This is davis909.
