I am looking into a 04 G coupe for $25,337.
If I purchased it outright, the sales tax would be around $2030.

I work at a dealership and that sounds about right, 21k would be a little better.
What you should do is take your car to the local honda dealership and have them quote you a trade in price if you got the accord. They will be comparable and you mise well take the tax break, and the savings in hassle will be nice too.
