Should I get springs or not????

Alright, i just ordered a net set of tires. I'm sticking with my OEM 19s for now, not exactly ready to get new rims yet, i'll do that in 20,000miles when its that time again.
Anyway. I still want to change the look, so i was thinknig about doing getting lowering springs too. I don't want to slamn, it, I was looking at hte Tein H specs, like 1 inch drop all around. Any thoughts. Im going to get an alignment done wit the new tires, so if i'm going to get springs, now is the time.
Let me know, personal experiences would be awesome.
Oh, I got 235/35 G-force 2 up front, and 255/35 in the back
thanks guys griff

yah the H techs are great although they in most cases give a little less than a full 1" drop. if you have the money, id advise going for some basic coilovers made by tein. they are adjustable

keep in mind anything over an inch you should get cambers
some will argue that ANY adjustment in height should have cambers

I put the tanabe nf210 springs on mine and I'm very pleased. It was exactly an inch drop front and rear, but what is nice about them compared to the htech springs is that they are as soft as the stock suspension. It drives exactly the same but looks much better.

Call over to Tony at riverside infiniti, he gave me a great price and was very helpful.

ps- i need a camber kit in the rear.

Dont get springs... go big and get the Tein Basics.

Coilover>Springs if you have the money. If you dont, then wait and save up

Swift springs !

Swift made Sport Springs keeps your quality ride you get from showroom, and adds a sporty feel and lower ride height for sport driving enthusiasts and style minded drivers who demand only the best.
Swift did not start developing Sport Springs by trying to drop the ride height. Unlike others who only care about style, Swift approached to create lowering springs with 3 rules.

1 Keep or improve a smooth comfortable ride.
2 Increase handling, control, and performance.
3 Lower the vehicle within the each vehicle’s usable stroke.

Swift developed each Sport Springs application based on each vehicles unique characteristic. So a Luxury car will keep its luxury ride, and sports car will handle like a sport car.

Drop Rate(F/R): 1.0"/0.6"

the spc rear kit is inexpensive from what I remember, maybe $300 or so I think (dont know for sure)

With s techs you will probably want a rear kit, its similar to my drop. You might consider spacers too to make your rims look more flush

i was just donig some searching, i found alot of ppl recommend the 350Z H specs...anybody have thoughts on these?
I really just want to lower it down about an inch, and not lose handling. I don't race my G, but I push it.
What size spacers would be good for the back to make the wheels more flush? what brands are good?
thanks for ur help, I wish there were more G's in Daytona and not NASCAR

The 350z h techs are great, I was going to get them but they were a little more $$ and riverside didnt cary them. Again, they are going to be quite a bit stiffer than stock, if you want to keep ride quality look into the tanabe nf210 or swift springs (a little more money)

Im still waiting to get my camber kit before I look at rear spacers, but 20mm spacers were highly recommended for the back, 15 for the front. There is a guy in the wheels and tires marketplace w/two sets of 15mm spacers for cheap! Im thinking about getting it but I dunno.

This is lowered on Htechs. Photo taken right after the install. Probably has settled a little more.
It will be a stiffer ride than stock. Need to decide what ride quality you want and then select by spring rate.

Sits on stock 18's in this picture, but not much longer.

Look here for spring info.
