Tranny Is Slipping!!!! Anyone Else?
Have a g coupe and the tranny is slipping alot!! Anyone else have this prob? My warranty expires in 2 months so I can take it to the dealership,thank god!!!
My question in should I take off the plenum and the intake before I take it in?. I know the least I sholu do is take off the plenum, but how about the CAI? SUGGESTIONS/COMMENTS?

Did you have the transmission serviced at the scheduled maintenance times?
I have an AT, and I had the trans flushed at 30,000 miles....
Unless they can come up with a legitimate reason/s why the CAI or Plenum would have caused the trans to malfunction, I would say your probably safe.
But, depending on your dealer....use your own judgement on that.....

thanks boys for the feedback... its an at and i think i should just take it off to avoid any potential probs from the dicks at the dealer. i did have the 30 k service and the car only has 35k on it and its an 03!!! WTF!!!!
THE ONLY THING IS I THREW OUT THE OLD INTAKE !! ****... I KEPT THE STOCK PLENUM... THINK THEY WILL HASSLE ME? HAS ANYONE GONE TO THE DEALER AND HAD TROULBLE WITH THE cai?

If the dealer can prove your CAI added so much power that it busted a tranny that was designed for the 4.5 litre V8 engine, then maybe I'll buy your CAI off of you

Since you take off the plenum might as well just put everything back to stock to save the arguing trouble (as one said above), not that much of work. You know dealer, they always find a way to take your $$$ out of your pocket.
